Grammy’s Banana Bread – Modified

2.5 cups flour

1 2/3 cups sugar

1 ¼ tsp baking soda

**1 tsp salt

½ c. butter (down from 2/3) {maybe try oil?}

2/3 cup buttermilk {2/3 c. milk + 2 tsp vinegar}

2 ½ cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)

3 eggs

2/3 cup finely chopped nuts

FOR LOAF:
Grease & Flour pan. Cook at 375
° for 45 mins

FOR MUFFINS:

Liners or Spray with Bakers Joy.

Fill muffin cups ¾ full for regular size muffins. Cook for 20 mins. Fill to top for big bakery-sized muffins, cook for 25 mins.

Sprinkle with coarse sugar sprinkles
